Contractor robbed of car and cash in Greater Noida

Armed men robbed a car and Rs 15,000 in cash from a contractor near D Park in Badalpur area here, police said today.
The incident took place last night when contractor Inderpal, a resident of Khata village, was returning home in his Hyundai-i10.
When he reached near D Park in Badalpur area armed men stopped his car and held him captive. Later they dumped him near Khairpur village and fled with the car, police said.
They also took away around Rs 15,000 in cash from him.
In another incident, Sikandrabad resident Mahinder Saini was robbed off near Chiti village. The incident took place when he was going in his car, along with wife Omvati and sister Geeta, last night.

Unidentified men in a Maruti Swift car forced him to stop his car and robbed gold jewellery from the women, besides Rs 10,000 cash and two mobile phones.
