The accused cop, Sarfaraz has been arrested for teasing a Dalit girl student of tenth class in Miranpur town of the district yesterday, they said.
He has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody by a local court here in connection with the case.
Locals handed over the accused to police after beating him up. A case has been registered against the accused cop under SC\ST act, police added.
