Cop loses job for involvement in murder conspiracy

A policeman, accused of being involved in a murder conspiracy, has been terminated from service, a senior police officer said here today.
Service of inspector Sanjay Rai, wanted in connection with criminal conspiracy of the murder of class eight student Maaz Mohammad has been terminated, IG (law and order) R K Vishwakarma told reporters.
On May 29, some people shot dead Maaz in his Indiranagar colony house.
Police had arrested two contract killers Ajit Rai and Rahul Rai in connection with the murder, who later accused inspector Rai of giving them contract to kill the boy.
