While, tin dropped on stockist selling following subdued offtake from alloy industries.
The Industrial metal, copper slipped in early trade at the LME, after posting their strongest gains since mid-2013 overnight, as euphoria in commodity markets over rising oil prices settled.
Copper utensils scrap spurted by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 398 from Tuesday's closing of Rs 390 and copper armiture surged by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 417 from Rs 411.
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar both moved up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 426 and Rs 446 as compared to Rs 423 and Rs 443 previously.
Brass sheet cutting edged up by Rs 2 to Rs 322 from Rs 320 and zinc inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 173.
However, tin slumped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,450 from overnight close of Rs 1,460 and brass utensils scrap declined by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 312 from Rs 315 respectively.
