Copper, zinc prices decline on reduced offtake

Prices of copper and zinc fell by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market facing reduced demand from consuming industries.
Traders said besides reduced offtake by consuming industries, a weak global trend led to decline in copper and zinc prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and zinc ingot traded lower by Rs 2 each to Rs 390 and Rs 104-110 per kg, respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 104-110, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 945-950, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 390, Chadri deshi Rs 285.
Lead ingot Rs 100, Lead imported Rs 101, Aluminium ingots Rs 156, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 157, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 159 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 156.
