Royal Enfield sales surge 49% in July

Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors today posted total sales of 40,760 units in July, up by 49 per cent, year-on-year.
The iconic two-wheeler manufacturer had sold 27,314 units in July 2014, Royal Enfield said in a statement.
Sales in the domestic market zoomed 49 per cent to 39,867 units from 26,796 units during during same month last year.
Exports during the month rose by 72 per cent to 893 units, as compared to 518 units in July 2014.
