Copra rajapur slips on poor offtake

Copra rajapur mumbai slipped at the spices market here today following poor demand from stockists and retailers.
While, copra edible Mumbai advanced owing to good demand from stockists and retailers.
Rest all other spices ruled steady in the absence of necessary buying activity.
Copra rajapur Mumbai fell by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 10,200 from Wednesday's close Rs 10,700.
However, copra edible Mumbai surged by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 8,300 as against Rs 8,100 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 675/760 (675/760), ginger bleached (per kg) 140 (140), ginger unbleached (per kg) 160 (160), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 6,600 (6,600), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 6,500 (6,500), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 10,200 (10,700), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 8,300 (8,100).
