Coriander prices fell by Rs 130 to Rs 5,725 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday as speculators reduced their positions amid sluggish demand at the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, coriander for October delivery fell by Rs 130, or 2.22 per cent, to Rs 5,725 per quintal with an open interest of 4,950 lots.

Similarly, coriander for November delivery declined by Rs 136, or 2.26 per cent, to Rs 5,873 per quintal with an open interest of 14,860 lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand from speculators led to decline in coriander prices here.
