The 36-year-old actress, who is gearing up for a planned sequel with Mila Kunis and Kathryn Hahn, loved Jon Lucas and Scott Moore's script, but couldn't believe a woman wasn't responsible for the girl power movie, reported Access Hollywood.
"I'm like, 'There's no guy who could have written this' but they had dinner parties with all of their wives' friends and said, 'Tell me your weirdest mum stories, your horror stories about dating. And they asked us.
The "Bad Moms" sequel, which will have a Christmas theme, will be shot this spring. It will hit cinemas in November this year.
