Speaking to reporters here, he said Manoj was murdered in front of his wife and children and the witness had already identified the accused persons. Under these circumstances there was no need for a CBI probe into the murder, he said.
Krishnadas demanded that the probe be conducted on the basis of the chargesheet filed by local police. Government and police should bring to light those involved in the 'conspiracy', he said.
Manoj was hacked to death by a gang, allegedly CPI(M) activists at Payyoli on Febrary 12, 2012 in front of his wife and children and later succumbed to his injuries.
