The accused identified as Tahir was arrested from Shikarpur area here. He was wanted in connection with an attempt to murder case when he along with four others had opened fire on one Aslam in December 2012, they said.
While other accused in the case were arrested, Tahir was absconding and police had announced reward of Rs 5000 on his arrest early this year, police added.
