CRPF jawan injured in anti-naxalite operation

A CRPF jawan was injured in an encounter with Naxalites at Kasmar jungle in Gumla district, a police officer said.
"The condition of injured jawan, Santosh Kumarm, is stable," Superintendent of Police Bhimsen Tuti said here.
The encounter, which began early morning, continued till the evening, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Mohammad Arshad said.
Security personnel comprising Jharkhand Jaguar, CRPF and CoBRA battalions and district armed police of Gumla, Latehar and Lohardaga districts jointly launched the operation, Arshad said.
