Customs seize 3.3 kg of gold at Airport

Customs officials seized 3.3 kg of gold from a passenger who arrived from Bangkok at the N S C Bose International Airport here today.
The gold, valued at Rs 87 lakh, was concealed in waist belt, watch and handbag of the passenger, airport officials said.
The passenger Sheikh Shafiuddin, a resident of Khidirpore area in western part of the metropolis, was arrested, they said.
