police officer was nabbed while two persons were injured when a group of dacoits attacked a passenger bus in two separate incidents in West Bengal today.
Police said one Rahul Dubey, who posing as a police officer had collected money from several people by promising them jobs, was nabbed in the Howrah railway station.
Dubey, who collected nearly Rs six lakh, was caught while taking money from a person who had earlier alerted the police in the railway station.
In another incident at Jadupur on national highway 34, a group of dacoits looted money and injured two employees of a passenger bus travelling from Kolkata to Balurhat.
The dacoits fled after the incident.
