Scott Clayton's Oceanside Media has optioned movie rights to the mystery thriller, written by "La La Land" director, reported Variety.
The script, which made the Black List in the year 2010, revolves around the story of a single father who has a criminal background and must find out where his kidnapped daughter is, along with fighting the mysterious claims of another couple who insist that the child is theirs.
Clayton said, "He (Chazelle) has written a mesmerising and bone-chilling thriller confirming his talent as a truly versatile screenwriter. We look forward to bringing this haunting film to audiences around the world."
