DCB Bank, M2P launches mobile wallet service YAP

DCB Bank and M2P, a digital payment solutions company, have jointly launched a new platform YAP for wallet services.
"DCB Bank has partnered with M2P to offer the 'YAP' digital payment suite targeting businesses going digital and looking to adopt bank-grade solutions. This sophisticated platform will enable retail brands and businesses to provide digital payment suites on their websites and mobile applications," DCB Bank said in a release today.
The Bank's digital wallet can be embedded into any website or mobile application and has a high level of security, reliability and trust, it said.
It includes a host of features including one-click checkout and instant processing of refunds as well as voucher and coupon offers.
Further, customers have the option to add a Visa Prepaid Card linked to their digital wallets to power online commerce transactions and payments to offline merchants, said the bank.

RSP wins Par-Excellence Award
* All the six Quality Circle teams representing Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) have won the highest 'Par-Excellence Award' in the 29th National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC - 2015).
The awards were given at the four-day convention held in Chennai recently, RSP said in a release.
The award winning teams are Parivartan of Blast Furnace, Nirmaan of SMS - II, Seahawks of Coke Ovens, Akankshya of OBBP, Manthan of Hot Strip Mill and Avishkar of ERW Pipe Plant, it said.
Cognizant opens 'Customer Success Centre' in Barcelona
* IT company Cognizant today said it has opened an European 'Customer Success Centre' in Barcelona to drive client digital transformations with Salesforce platform.
In a statement, Cognizant said it "has opened its first European customer success centre specifically dedicated to helping clients across the region design and develop their Salesforce Customer Success Platform-based business transformation solutions efficiently".
As a regional hub for Cognizant's Salesforce clients across Europe, the centre will leverage a team of multi-lingual professionals specialising in Salesforce's software-as-a-service, applications engineering, and business transformation solutions to enable clients to drive their digital innovation journey, it added.

Voltas launches new inverter ACs
* Tata Group firm Voltas today said it has launched a new range of inverter AC powered with two stage steady cool compressor.
Unlike other ordinary inverter ACs, the Voltas AC runs on a unique Two-Stage Compressor technology, which provides two stage expansion of the refrigerant, the company statement said.
The company also said it has crossed sales of 1.5 million units in the cooling category in 2016-17.

*FMCG major Nestle today said its brand Nestle munch has associated with India's mega movie franchise Baahubali for the release of 'Baahubali 2'.
The partnership will be activated through the launch of five new munch limited edition packs and a high decibel television campaign, supported by exclusive social media content, the company said in a statement.
"We are very pleased to be associated with Baahubali 2 as this will help us engage with our consumers in a more exciting way," Nestle India General Manager, Chocolates and Confectionery, Nikhil Chand said.

Wishfin announces key appointments
* Financial services facilitator Wishfin today said Reem Saied has been appointed company's chief marketing officer and Bhartendra Singh head of product for investment marketplace and insurance.
Besides, Kousik Chatterjee has been appointed head of sales and operations of investment marketplace.
Wishfin, run by Mywish Marketplaces Private Ltd (MMPL), helps in loans, investment, insurance, credit and savings product offerings.
MMPL recently got funding of USD 15 million from Franklin Templeton.
