Deepak Fertilisers dives over 7% on disappointing Q2 show
Press Trust of India New Delhi Shares of Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation today plunged over 7 per cent after the company reported fall in net profit for the quarter ended September 30.
The stock tumbled 6.23 per cent to end at Rs 186.65 on BSE. Intra-day, it dived 10.82 per cent to Rs 177.50.
At NSE, shares of the company declined by 7.17 per cent to settle at Rs 186.35.
Deepak Fertilisers yesterday reported a marginal fall in net profit at Rs 26.96 crore for the second quarter this fiscal.
Its net profit stood at Rs 28.31 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Total income fell to Rs 938.21 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal compared to Rs 1,095.03 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
