Delhi Auto Rickshaw Sangh will hold the protest rally from ISBT to LG's secretariat.
"For the last few days, we have been seeking meeting with chief secretary, but we are not being allowed to have a meeting with him. We want the LG and chief secretary to revoke the ban on issuing fitness certificate to such autos which don't have GPS," Delhi Auto Rickshaw Sangh's general secretary Rajendra Soni said.
"If the LG and transport department don't pay heed to our demand even after Monday's protest, we will permanently install black flags on autos to show our protest," Soni also said.
He said that DIMTS' authorised dealers are installing GPS along with meters at a cost of Rs Rs 13,000 and Rs 17,000, but in Gurgaon, GPS is being installed for just Rs 3,500.
On April 30, auto drivers had been denied vehicle fitness certificates by the transport department for not being equipped with GPS systems.
