"DDC teams will visit industrial areas to assess the ground reality and understand the kind of support required by the industry from the government," an official said.
"The emphasis will be on how industries can contribute to create more jobs, generate higher revenues for themselves and for the government," he added.
The official said the teams will visit Okhla Industrial Estate tomorrow and meet industry associations.
This will be preceded by meetings with members of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Delhi's factory owners from industrial areas in Wazirpur, Lawrence Road and Narela.
According to the officials, DDC will help the Delhi government formulate trader/industry friendly policies and streamline rules and regulations for running businesses.
It will recommend changes in rules and policies that will simplify compliance and licensing for traders and put in place a system of single-window clearance.
"The participation of traders and industries in the framing of trade and industries policies is vital. Apart from the simplification of laws, government is working on making its services online. The stakeholders will be involved to identify the services which should be provided online," the officials said.
