Delhi maximum temperature 43.3 degree Celsius

Delhiites continued to reel under an intense heat wave with the mercury today settling at 43.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, even as the the Met office warned of hotter days ahead.
"The Safdarjung observatory, reading of which is considered the official figure for the city, registered a maximum temperature of 43.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average," said a Met department official.
The Palam observatory registered a scorching 45.2 degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal, the official said.
The humidity level oscillated between 47 per cent and 18 per cent.

The Met office has forecast clear skies for tomorrow.

"The skies will be mainly clear. Dusty haze is likely to occur towards morning and evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 44 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius," the official said.
According to the official, the temperature in the capital is expected to rise for the next three four days.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 43.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature had settled at 26.4 degrees.
