Rahul, a resident of Noida, used to cheat people by promising air tickets through his fake travel agency listed on Just Dial website, police said.
Giving details of case, police said one Guneet Singh along with his friends, in December last year, planned a tour of Goa.
"Singh got into contact with Rahul and paid Rs 28,000 for booking air tickets and hotel booking. The accused gave advance air tickets to Singh and his friend Joya Brar. Few more friends of Singh also paid some amount to Rahul for booking tickets. Like this, he cheated them of the tune of Rs 2,18,000," a senior police officer said.
Rahul was arrested yesterday by Kalkaji Police.
