The MoU will also ensure timely release of adequate funds for execution of the project, land acquisition and continuance of full assistance by the Ministry in deputing Railway officials on tenure basis to work in DFCCIL.
The MoU was signed last week, a senior DFCC official said.
The DFCCIL, a special purpose vehicle, is constructing a 3300 km-long eastern and western freight corridors exclusively for movement of goods trains.
The two corridors will contribute in a great manner in the economic development of the states through which they pass as well as ease traffic load on existing Indian Railways network.
Core sectors like power houses, fertiliser, foodgrains will be benefited by this infrastructure.
