Roads(DGBR) Lt Gen A T Parnaik met the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma and Chief Minister Nabam Tuki here yesterday and discussed on various road infrastructure developments in the state, as well as problems faced by the organisation in laying the roads.
The Governor, who recently toured remote places like Taksing and Kibithu, emphasised on road connectivity to remote places like Taksing and Maza.
He stressed on greater coordination between the projects and use of suitable machineries, official sources said here today.
Underscoring that good roads are required for enhancing the quality of life and socio- economic development of the people in remote areas, the governor stressed on expediting the road projects and timely and proper implementation of projects in the state.
