"He (Dilip Kumar) is doing fine. He is recovering, but is under observation... There is nothing to worry. He will be there in hospital for two-three (more) days," sources close to the actor told PTI today.
Last evening, a press release from Lilavati Hospital, where the 90-year-old thespian is admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU), said that Dilip Kumar had suffered a myocardial infarction (heart attack) Sunday. All treatment as per protocol was instituted. At present his condition is stable.
The veteran actor had undergone a heart surgery 14 years ago, his wife Saira Banu said.
The legendary actor is known for his memorable roles in films like "Mughal-e-Azam", "Madhumati", "Devdas" and "Ganga Jamuna".
