Deepika not part of 'Fast and Furious 7' due to date issues

Actress Deepika Padukone will not be able to make her Hollywood debut with 'Fast and Furious 7', primarily due to date issues.
There were reports that Deepika was finalised for Hollywood film 'Fast and Furious 7'. The makers needed Deepika to allot dates as early as September 10.
However, she is committed to shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for 'Happy New Year' and has to promote Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela'.
Her official spokesperson had recently said in a statement that, "Deepika was offered to be a part of the next 'Fast And Furious' movie. She is a huge fan of the franchise and it's disappointing not to be able to do it. Unfortunately, the movie goes on the floors immediately and that left too short a time for her to shift her existing date commitments to the producers of 'Ram Leela', 'Happy New Year' and 'Finding Fanny Fernandes'."

"I think a lot has been said. I have never been comfortable to talk about what doesn't happen, I rather focus on what is happening," Deepika told reporters here last evening.
Reportedly, Deepika had beaten Kangana Ranaut and Chitrangada Singh, who had undertaken screen test for the role.
