He apprised the Governor of the series of initiatives taken by the NBT for promoting reading habits among people and generating a book culture in the country, an official spokesman said.
The Governor discussed the usefulness of classic literary works and biographies of important persons being translated into various languages and sold at moderate prices.
He said NBT may seriously consider bringing out easy-to- read comic books for children of various age groups and promised all help to NBT for organising Book Fairs in all the three regions of the state.
