Doctor sent to 14 days judicial custody

Police had registered a case against Dr Vinod Kumar of the Chitra Ultrasound Centre and his absconding colleague, Dr Vikram Singh, following checks which found them illegally conducting sex determination tests at their centre.

Chitra Ultrasound Centre and Taneja Ultrasound Centre were sealed by the health officials after its employees were found indulging in illegal practice of sex determination tests.
