Police arrested 41-year-old Gurdip, a resident of Uttam Nagar who worked as a tailor, and 31-year-old Rehman Ali, resident of Farrukhabad in Uttar Pradesh, from their garment manufacturing factory in Nanhe park area of Bindapur after the cops received a call about loud cries of a woman last night.

The caller informed that the woman was shouting in a house in Nanhe park at around 11.20 PM. On reaching the spot, they found the main door open and a man, Gurdip, with blood marks on his clothes, was trying to flee while the body a woman was lying in apool of blood, they said.

"Gurdip, who was frightened, said that he had injured the woman and two others with the help one of his workers. Body of a six-year-old girl was found lying in a pool of blood and a man was found lying unconscious with blood splattered around him in the next room," said Anil Kumar Ojha, DCP South West district.

During search, police found Ali hiding on the terrace.

The injured man was identified as 31-year-old Asit Sahini while the woman was his 24-year-old wife Phulbani and the girl was their daughter. They were residents of Bidanpura in Karolbagh.

All three were rushed to the DDU hospital, where Phulbani and her daughter was declared brought dead, while Sahini is undergoing treatment at the ICU and is not yet out of danger.

"During interrogation, Gurdip said Sahini had purchased a flat at Bawana under 'Self Finance Cost Effective Workers Housing Scheme' from Gurdip, which was in his wife Bharti's name for Rs 2.25 lakh and had made full payment," Ojha said.

But Gurdip didn't hand over the possession of the flat to Sahini or got the papers made in his name. When Asit and his family told him that they would report the matter to the police, Gurdip planned to kill Sahini. He called all three to his factory and attacked them, the official said.
