The case was registered against principal G P Pandey under various IPC sections including 409 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery) and 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), based on a complaint filed by Ramakant Chaunkar, a resident of Nadwai town in Bharatpur district.
Chaunkar alleged that he could not appear in the interview for the post of messenger in the school in 2011 as the principal wrongly told him that the date for the interview had been postponed.
The case was registered following the intervention of a court. Refinery police station in-charge Chottelal Yadav confirmed registration of the case. Investigation into the matter is underway and action would be taken accordingly, Yadav said.
When contacted, the principal denied the allegations. "It is baseless...," Pandey said.
