Dr Ashok Kamat to contest Marathi Sahitya Sammelan election

Dr Ashok Kamat, a scholar of Bhakti sect, today declared his candidacy for president-ship of 88th Marathi literary convention (Sahitya Sammelan), to be held at Ghuman in Punjab in February next year.
Kamat said here that he had been studying the Bhakti sect for the last fifty years.
Renowned scholar/writer Dr Sadanand More too has thrown his hat into the ring for the president's post.
