Telangana Information Technology and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao said this at Agraharam village in Sircilla mandal after laying foundation for Drinking water supply project.
"Telangana government has taken up drinking water supply project as one of the prestigious ones. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 35,000 crore, while the estimated distance of the grid is 154 kilometres in Telangana state which includes 17 intake wells, 65 purifying centres and 19000 tanks.
Earlier, Rao inaugurated integrated service centre at Chinna Bonala village in Sircilla assembly constituency.
Remaining centres will be started soon, he said.
The villagers can get birth, death, caste and other certificates in the centres, he added.
