DTC bus catches fire, no one injured

A Delhi transport corporation (DTC) bus caught fire today while on its way to Laxmi Nagar from ITO, which led to a severe traffic jam on Vikas Marg.
The passengers and the DTC staff managed to alight from the bus unharmed and no casualty was reported, said a senior police official.
The control room was informed about the incident at 7.45 PM. Following which four fire tenders were rushed to the spot, a Delhi fire department official said.
The fire tenders took 30 minutes to douse the fire, the official said.
