Refined palmolein edged down further owing to reduced retail buying.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial slid further in the absence of demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseeds oil also went down following reduced offtake from paint and allied industries.
In futures market, castorseeds for September contract maintained its down-trend due to speculative selling amid mute export enquiries.
In the edible segment, Groundnut oil dropped by Rs 15 per 10 kg to Rs 920 from Friday's closing level of Rs 935 and refined palmolein inched down by rupee per 10kg to Rs 527.
Turning to futures, Castorseeds September contract resumed slightly higher at Rs 3,666, but later slid to finish at Rs 3,627 from Rs 3,663 previously, showing loss of Rs 36 per tonne.
