The incident happened near Bamba crossing last night and eight persons were killed, District Magistrate Nidhi Kesarwani said today.
Three of the deceased have been identified as Wakil (45), Karua (20), Krishna (25), police said, adding five remain unidentified.
The injured were rushed to a hospital here from where five were later referred to Agra in a serious condition, police said.
