An elderly man out on a morning walk was mowed down by a speeding car in Northeast Delhi's New Usmanpur area on Wednesday, police said.
Chandrapal, 80, was a resident of New Usmanpur area.
The speeding car hit him at around 6.30 am while he was out on a walk, they said.
He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Atul Kumar Thakur said.
The accused, Anil Kumar (40) is a taxi driver. He has been arrested, the DCP said.
