Elderly woman run over by train

An elderly woman was allegedly ran over by a train at Khatoli town here when she was on her way to a bank, police said today.
The victim, Kiran Devi (80), had gone to the bank to withdraw cash yesterday as the banking institutes, as per the government order, were working solely for senior citizens in the wake of demonetisation, they said.
Her body was found on the railway tracks, police said, adding that she may have been mowed down by the train.
