"In the Global Investors' Summit delegates from eleven countries including Australia, Canada, South Africa, Mexico, Austria and France have given their consent," Madhya Pradesh Commerce and Industries Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia told reporters.
Noted industrialists like Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Gautam Adani, among others have also given their initial consent to participate in the summit.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the summit, she said.
She said that this time the government has decided to ink Expression of Interest (EOI) instead of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the companies.
The state government has prepared a 20,000 hectare land bank in the state before the investors' summit.
