The 44-year-old English actor said Hurley, 50, is quite witty and even a little mischievous, reported E! online.
"Elizabeth is funny. She's got a wicked sense of humour and there's a little devil, I think, behind her eyes," Maskall said.
The actor, who plays newly-crowned King Cyrus in TV series joked he has become more of a diva himself since his character got the throne.
"I've refused to wash up, cook, walk the dog. I expect a manicure twice a week, actually three times a week, and a bath to be drawn. I take it home with me, absolutely."
