The 23-year-old actress, who was catapulted to the spotlight as Hermione Granger in the 'Harry Potter' franchise when she was just nine years old, said she cannot wait to start her work, reported Deadline.
"I am passionate about Alejandro and his work and am so happy to be collaborating with him. I'm really excited by the challenge my character presents to me as an actress... I can't wait to begin," Watson said.
The blonde beauty is set to star alongside 43-year-old actor Ethan Hawke in the Weinstein Company's, founded by Bob and Harvey Weinstein in 2005, forthcoming film which is set for a 2015 release.
