Former Moga Senior Superintendent of Police Raj Jit Singh, against whom a look-out notice had been issued by Punjab Police Vigilance Bureau, today surrendered his passport to the police here.
Last Saturday, the bureau had issued a look-out notice for the ex-Moga SSP in view of reports indicating that he may flee the country. He was required for questioning in connection with an FIR registered at Police Station Flying Squad, Vigilance Bureau.
A senior police official said that Singh surrendered his passport through a Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) rank officer to the Inspector General (Headquarters), Punjab police, in the morning here
