"The meeting will discuss the future course of action as far as preservation of these monuments is concerned," State Archives and Archeology Minister Fransisco Miccky Pacheco told PTI today.
Pacheco will chair the meeting scheduled to be held tomorrow at the Secretariat.
Goa has 51 monuments of historical importance, which are protected by the state government.
"Basically we will have brain storming on how to efficiently protect these monuments. Historians, Architects, Restoration experts, Secretaries of concerned department, Members of Legislative Assembly from different constituencies, Tourism department officials and others are invited in the meeting," Pacheco added.
"We will decide on how to go about their restoration without affecting its historical and archeological importance," he said.
Pacheco said the ministry is sensitive about the monuments and would like to take everyone into confidence before taking any step.
