Fake currency recovered from near Bangla border outpost

The patrolling BSF jawans recovered fake currency, with a face value of Rs 9 lakh, at Kaliachak, near Indo-Bangladesh border in Malda district today.
Additional SP Avisek Modi said the counterfeit notes, each bearing the face denomination value of Rs 500, were stacked in a bag lying near a border outpost.
The unclaimed bag was taken to the outpost and then handed over to the police by BSF, Modi said.
Both the border guards and police launched search operation to find the possible courier.
