A 21-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly possessing the products, police said.
The action was taken after Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR), passed on information to Pydhonie Police Station that fake Samsung mobile accessories were stored in a warehouse at Masjid Bunder and were being sold to customers and retailers as original products.
A team of policemen along with EIPR officials yesterday raided a warehouse in Narsi Natha Street at Masjid Bunder in south Mumbai, police said.
Bhawanisingh Rajput, who possessed over one lakh duplicate items and was into selling them to the customers and retailers, was arrested under IPC section 420 (cheating) and other relevant sections of Copyright Act.
