A Delhi based couple and their daughter were killed after their car tyre apparently busted, following which the driver lost control and hit another vehicle coming from the opposite side, SHO Civil Lines police station, Prateek Kumar said.
The deceased were on their way to Ludhiana from Delhi, he said, adding the couple was killed on the spot while their daughter died on the way to hospital.
The four injured, who were travelling towards Delhi in the other car, were rushed to a hospital in Karnal, police said.
