"Three persons, including a father-son duo, died on the spot when an over-speeding jeep, coming from the opposite direction hit the motorbike on which they were travelling at Timbi village near Halol town," a police station officer (PSO) said.
The deceased were identified as Bakabhai Jalubhai Rathwa (32), his son Rahul (4) and their family friend Rajubhi Faliya (16). They were from Mandvi village near Halol town in Panchmahal district.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem and a case of rash driving was registered against the unidentified person.
