Qasim Din Gujjar (38) and his son Sher Mohammad (19), both residents of Padyarna Kishtwar, were arrested and 2.5 kg of the drug was recovered from them, police said.
Acting on a specific information, a police team under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police, Kishtwar, Thakur Kulbir Singh laid a trap and apprehended the duo, they said.
An FIR has been registered in this regard and more arrests were likely, they said.
During preliminary questioning it came to light that both were active in this trade from some time and this year they had sold around 4 kg of charas to various persons, they added.
