They today submitted a memorandum to the state government through the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar and staged a demonstration in front of the DC's office in Silchar demanding immediate steps for payment of their salaries.
The Association said around 300 lady workers who have been serving as ANM and LHS have not received their monthly salary for the last four months.
The workers also served an ultimatum that if their due salary is not being cleared by government by the first week of January, they would resort to agitation.
