Fire breaks out in train carrying army personnel

A fire broke out in a compartment of a special train carrying army personnel at Ambari Falakata railway station in Jalpaiguri district today but there was no reports of any casualty.
The special train carrying army personnel was on its way to Jammu from Dimapur when fire was noticed in one of its compartment at Ambari Falakata railway station, a railway official said.
The train halted at Ambari Falakata railway station and five fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flame, the official said.
The fire has been extinguished and the charred compartment has been detached from the train, the officer said adding there was no report of any casualty in the fire.
The cause of the fire was not yet known, the officer added.
