Crackers stored in the godown burst at regular intervals and fireforce personnel had a tough time extinguishing the blaze.
Thick smoke spread to some parts of Perappati village following the fire.
The cause of the fire was not known, police said, adding, the crackers were stored for the coming Diwali festival season.
