MLA Karan Singh from Banjar constituency would be inducted in the cabinet, official sources said today.
With this induction, the strength of the cabinet would increase to 12, including the chief minister.
The Congress has 36 MLAs in the 68-member house including eleven cabinet ministers, Speaker besides, Deputy Commissioner and eight Chief Parliamentary secretaries.
Three-time MLA Karan Singh was elected to the assembly from Banjar in 1990, 1998 and 2012 and was minister of state for Primary Education in previous BJP government from 1998 to 2003.
